Spa Experience at Claridge’s
The much-anticipated arrival of the Spa at Claridge’s has wowed even the most seasoned luxury connoisseur. This legendary London hotel unveiled its latest opening in 2012 and it is the first service of its kind in the hotel’s 200 plus year history.
This subterranean paradise, designed by architect Andree Fu, is a 7,000-square foot utopia, replete with a stunning heated swimming pool, sauna and steam room, treatment rooms where you can indulge in the most luxurious skincare, including the renowned Augustinus Bader ‘Method’ facial. The spa also has a hair salon courtesy of colour maestro, Josh Wood, to ensure you leave the hotel with the glossiest mane in Mayfair. We could go on, but this spa must be experienced to be believed.

Our recommendations
For total relaxation, we highly recommend the Deep Release La-Eva body treatment. This deep tissue massage incorporates a rocking movement to remove tension and leave you feeling with a deep sense of calm. Towards the end of the treatment, you’ll receive the most soothing scalp massage which is nothing short of heavenly. You can choose between a 60- or 90-minute session.
Afternoon Tea at The Beaumont
It’s a rarefied world at the five-star Beaumont hotel in Mayfair, and their exquisite afternoon tea is no exception. Served in the elegant Gatsby Room, inspired by the hotel’s 1920’s-style building, is a place that feels untouched by the passing of time – a serene escape from the outside world.
Here you can indulge in classic afternoon tea, with a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, decadent pastries and warm scones served with clotted cream and jam. The ‘tea’ element comes from master growers, Jing teas – one of our personal favourites.
We’re also impressed by their Vegan tea, as well as a mini tea specially designed for children, which ensures all diets are catered for; but then, you wouldn’t expect any less from The Beaumont.

Cocktails at the American Bar at The Savoy
London’s premier bar destination is also the city’s longest surviving cocktail bar. The American Bar first opened in 1893 and has served some of the world’s most legendary names, including Ernest Hemingway, Winston Churchill, and Marylin Monroe. There’s barely a name that hasn’t passed through the doors that hasn’t enjoyed one of the iconic cocktails.
Here you can enjoy vintage cocktails alongside newly launched creations that will tantalise the tastebuds.
We recommend a classic Martini with a twist if you fancy something refined and old-school. It’s also the prime spot for a vintage bottle of Champagne…just don’t forget to order the Beluga Caviar and blinis!

Stay at The NoMad London
The NoMad is one of London’s chicest five-star hotels, centrally located in the heart of Covent Garden. Housed in a stunning Grade II listed building that was the former Bow Magistrates Court. We think this hotel is the perfect spot in which to enjoy the very best the city has to offer. For instance, The Royal Opera House is directly opposite. It also happens that our favourite suite – the Royal Opera Suite – has the most gorgeous view of this legendary venue. Dine at Bob Bob Ricard in Soho
If the word ‘luxury’ could be used to describe any restaurant we would give the honour to Bob Bob Ricard. This sumptuous, art-deco style restaurant in the heart of Soho is a venue which positively exudes glamour. Just take the ‘Press for Champagne’ button which can be found at every booth.
The menu is a delectable mix of both classic British and French dishes, using the very finest ingredients.
To begin the culinary journey, we suggest the Degustation of three caviars with a glass of Champagne, moving on to the Scallop, Lobster and Shrimp Pelmeni, and then to the main of Beef Wellington (for 2) served with truffle jus. If there’s any room after that, the Strawberries and Cream Soufflé is simply divine.
