The Conran Shop first opened on the Fulham Road back in 1973 by pioneering architect, writer and designer, Sir Terence Conran. The shop instantly became synonymous with modern luxury and exceptional design. Sir Terence’s designs influenced the way people furnished and styled their homes, and still does to this day.

Over 50 years later, the Conran empire has grown internationally, and continues to inspire a whole new generation of shoppers who want to know more about the Conran ethos of design.

Their flagship store is located in a stunning Georgian townhouse in the heart of Sloane Square. It’s truly a sanctuary of style and quiet luxury.

Pattern Edge Side Plate Apricot

This summery, playful apricot colour instantly leapt off the plate for us. This gorgeous design with the waved edge would suit any summer dining table, and equally perfect to bring a shot of colour to every dining sitting. We certainly think this range brings an element of fun to any table.

Splatter Vase in Red & Pink

This unique vase is an exclusive to the Conran store, and one of the most coveted items. Hand-glazed in Puglia, Italy this striking vase would be a statement piece in any home.

The vase is crafted from stoneware, and each vase is assiduously decorated by hand. You will notice when you view the vases up close that each one is slightly unique in their own way – a sure-sign every piece has been finished by hand.

We love the fact this is part of a larger collection, and as you can see in this photo, there are a variety of colours and designs. We think they would work perfectly as a set.

Amberley Ridge Dinner Plate

The rich colours of the Amberly Ridge collection are utterly captivating, and one of the most sophisticated lines in the store.

The plates are all handmade in South Africa using Cape Clay which is slowly air dried in the sun before being finished with a high-gloss glaze. We love the rustic feel to this line, while still feeling luxe and high-end.

It’s a great collection to bring out for dinner parties, or simply when you want to add a touch of elegance to day-to-day dining.

Droplet Dimmable Nine Cluster Ceiling Light in Smoked Glass

Pendant lighting has never looked so chic with this nine-cluster ceiling light. The smoked glass and black cord give this light a minimalist feel, yet it’s a piece that is bound to make a statement. It was a talking point even on the shop floor.

You can buy each of these lights individually, but we think they look incredibly striking as a nine piece. The lights emit a soft light, that can be fully adjusted with the dimmer.

The cords are also adjustable so they can be longer or shorter depending on your space and the look you are going for.

Mellis Hand Knotted Cushion Cover Cobalt Blue

This texture-rich cushion had us immediately – and not just because it’s so wonderfully soft. The vibrance of the cobalt blue is even more stunning up close.

This incredible colour was chosen specifically to impart joy, and we agree this is the perfect addition to bring that happiness into the home.

The wool has been thoughtfully created with a particular knotting technique which gives such incredible detail.
